About Alan McAnulty
B.F.A. from Michigan State University 1979 with emphasis in graphic design, painting, and psychology. I have worked as art director for a labor union, printing company sales, music industry album cover designer, technical illustrator, fine art painter, and ADDY-winning art director at an advertising agency. I have done layouts and art with traditional media and started using computers to illustrate and design professionally in 1987.
Design and illustration for print or web have at their root the necessity of both clearly thought-out communication and the poetry of thought. I am told my creativity and efficiency are well-balanced, allowing me to get projects done on schedule, on budget, and with a minimum of fuss. I'm the missing piece in your marketing department.

Technically I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, GoLive, Illustrator, QuarkXPress and trouble-shooting on the Mac. I test web sites on both a Mac and a PC and use Google's SEO guidelines for website structure and development.
I was honored to have a film project shown at the Seattle Art Museum on Sept. 25, 2005. The festival is called StockStock and the piece created by myself and Rik Tweed was among the top 25 entries.
