B.F.A. from Michigan State University 1979 with emphasis in graphic design, painting, and psychology. I have worked as art director for a labor union, printing company salesman, music industry album cover and catalog designer, technical illustrator, fine art and decor painter, and art director at an advertising agency. I have done layouts with a t-square and blue pencil and started using computers to illustrate and design professionally in 1987.

Design and illustration for print or web have at their root the necessity of both clearly thought-out communication and the poetry of thought. I am told my creativity and efficiency are well-balanced, allowing me to get projects done on schedule, on budget, and with a minimum of consternation.

Technically I am skilled in Adobe Photoshop, GoLive, Illustrator, QuarkXPress and trouble-shooting on the Mac.
